Default K&N X-Stream Performance Powerlid?

What do you guys think of this? It is an aftermarket airbox lid with no snorkle etc. and the whole top part is a K&N filter. They dyno tested it against a bone stock Raptor, 31.3 stock, 38.9 rejetted with lid and K&N filter. What are people's opinions on this product?

I don't care much for the idea. I looked at one when modifying my airbox. In my opinion, there is no need to double filter your air. You are only slowing down the speed of the air entering the box. I found a kit from EHSRacing.com that I like a lot better. Rather than a filter on top of the box, it has an outerwear. It doesn't slow down the air near as much and you can have the performance of running with no lid without dumping loads of sand into your airbox.

I'm just curious, where can one find a picture and price for the K&N lid?

Does the new lid do away with the old filter? So the lid would be the only air filter....

No, this lid just lets more air into your air filter.
