Hey all. I am purchasing an 04 Z400 this week and I am curious how it runs in the snow. Are there certain tires I should put on for better traction? Any help or insight would be appreciated. thanks

 

i am 15, i the 1st time i rode a z-400 was in the snow, the wheels spin way to much and the back end slides left to righ cus of it, maybe buy some sand paddle tires??

 

ON my QUADZILLA i used the original ITP Holeshot.They work great.i raced snowmobiles on the roads wit them and they jus keep on geting traction.
P.S i beat the snowmobile.GO Quadzilla!!

 

Im gonna buy some new titan tires,the Fast Trekker Looks beafy.I bet hook up even better.

 

i have a z400 and messed around in the snow a bit last year there is not traction but its fun, holeshots didnt work for **** the only way i've heard of people getting good traction in snow is paddle tires or similar patter blackwaters maybe, but anything with any kind of torque is going to spin in snow and ice unless u get studs and what not

 

if you have nooby tires,take hex head machine screws and drill one throgh each nobby,i seen a dirtbike for sale that had that done to the tires!

 

this winter i will be using the stock tires studded and new realtor tires

my fast trekkers are horrible in the snow
