Would someone be kind enough to take a quick measure with a caliper or something of this dimension. Basically, what is the diameter of the outer most threads of the neck sticking up after you take off the gas cap? (The overall OD of the gas cap would help also.)

I left my '02 Sportman HO at a friends cabin and I'm making a custom GPS mount that involves being held in place by the fuel filler cap. I need this dimension to complete my project.

Thanks for the quick dimensions. Need to fab quickly then head out of town with it. I'll post some pix next week when I bring my Polaris back.
