Any of you folks running 42 or 43 tooth rear sprockets had/having clearance problems, such as rubbing the chain guide? My new 43 tooth came today - waiting for the new front to arrive so I can change both at the same time.

Same gearing could be achieved via a 15 tooth CS sproket, much cheaper & no clearance issues!

I am in the process of installing a 43 tooth rear spocket. I had a PRM swing arm skid plate. The new sprocket would not have fit with the old skid. I am having a custom designed skid plate made for me now.

That what you mean by rubbing the chain guide right ???

Thanks guys. I'm waiting for the new front sprockets to get here - ordered both 14 & 15 tooth, just haven't decided which to try first. Around here, 'I' would never use the top end a stock geared DS has - so I'm gearing down to see how many shifts I can make in 300' or less distance

I have been searching online at various sprocket companies but can't find where to buy a 42t rear for my DS.
Where are you guys getting them?

I already run a 15 tooth front with 22's..........Just want a little more low end for duning.

Thanks,

Try:

Thanks,
I don't have money to burn, so I just found and ordered a 42t rear from Albaaction.

I'm a big fat guy and need to get this 820lbs of quad and man moving a little quicker in the sand and trails.
