Everyone says the Raptor has a higher top speed. However I disagree. I raced my buddy on his. Out of the hole I always, always get him. He never gets me up to about 100 FT he catches and pulls away from me. I did gear my 2001 Raptor down 1 tooth on the front sprocket.

No, down in front is more low end power. Up in front(or down in back) is more top end.

So all Raptors come with a 13 tooth front sprocket?

Hmm.. perhaps I'll hold off installing that one tooth less front on my DS.
