My 03 raptor is having starter problems. When I go to start it, it makes this clicking type sound, like its not catching. I think one of the tooths were rounded off and that's causing the problem. I know I can take this to get fixed but I want to fix this myself. Does anybody know how to go about fixing this problem?

 

One -way starter gear
starter solinoid
battery(low amps)

It is either your one-way starter gear or a low battery....I would charge the batterylow amps only)and go from there
