Default Yamaha Blaster 240 big bore kit anygood?

Hey sup i was just wondering if it was worth the 500 and some dollars to get the vitos 240 big bore kit. Any thing will help thanx!

Yes, The friend of mine that owns the atv shop I hang with just put his own Vito's 240 together along with some port work and some other things and it runs very hard. He also owns the YZF450 I have mentioned before and in a drag race if the Blaster got it out of the whole the 450 could not pick it back up in a distance of around 400 ft. to 500 ft drag. Very impressed with the way it runs; really supprised us. Slim

Default Yamaha Blaster 240 big bore kit anygood?

I will add this. Don't expect the 240 kit to run with a bike such as the 450 without some extensive port work and some other goodies. The 240 kit alone will run descent like it is and in my opinion it is worth the money if you want a good aftermarket upgrade kit. Slim

Thanx but what kind of port work do you mean im new to all this engine mod stuff , im not sure where or what to do ?

well the Vitos kit is a nice kit... ive had it a CT kit and the custom kit i have now... i was more impressed with the Vitos then the CT... it provided good power and with the right porting you can have a great amount of power... as far as port work goes it means porting and polishing your cylinder head... a goood machine shop will do it for you...
