I have a 2000 sportsman 500 now and was considering getting something a little sportier. I am having trouble deciding on getting another Polaris or try another brand. I have had great luck with mine but I am always hearing of the longevity not being there as much on the polaris' and they are so dang heavy.So far I was considering maybe a 400 2-stroker, any input?

 

if you plan on jumping alot i dont suggest the 400... some ppl wont agree with me but when i had mine i hated jumping it.... only 1 a-arm and the shocks arent that great...
as far as just a faster trail machine its great.. but it dont handle well.

 

they handle good they're fun and fun jumping maybe i got a good one who knows

 

handles good compared too a 4x4 i guess... i mean its not horrible handling.. but not like the pred or a Z, or a 400ex.

agree the 400 2 stroke is the answer
