Default Jetting a 2004 700 after K&N filter install ???

I'm putting a K&N air filter in my 2004 Sportsman 700 and I need to know if and how I need to jet the carb. I'm new to all of this so any input would help. I'm not in a high elevation and for now I will keep the stock exhaust. Thanks, Mark.

You're probably going to be OK with the stock jetting as it's probably a bit rich to begin with....just be sure to check your plug.

Here's some links that may help:

I installed a K&N on my 98 Sportsman 500 and my 01 Sportsman 500 HO and in both cases no rejetting was required.

I'm with every body else. They tend to be a little rich anyways. You should be ok.

What do you think of a bigger carb on the 700.
