Has anyone put any gauges on their scrambler 500 and if so what type and brand did you use,and were do you put the sending units? I was thinking of geting a oil pressure and temp gauge but i am not sure on what type to get and if there is a place for the sending units...

Ive been thinking of doing that as a winter project. Autozone has the Sunpro gauges that have an oil temp, water temp, and volt meter i a 3 pack. The hard part would be figureing out where to mount them. I am not sure how thay would hold up to the abuse that I put my machine through though

 

I installed high lifters water temp. gauge. It was easy to install and it works and looks great. I made a bracket out of aluminum and mounted it between and just above the headlights.

Ok on that set up the sending unit went in the hose right? as for the oil pressure were on the engine could you put a prob to get the pressure?
