Default ATV Helmet communication system?

Me and my friends are looking for a three way communication system so we can talk while we are riding on seperate quads. I went to our local shops that may have something and didn't come up with much. I just need something that includes helmet speakers/microphones, three individual radios that can all be set to the same channel, and the control switches that connect to the handle bars. I also need it to be durable cause we ride our sport quads hard and don't want it falling apart. I saw a couple on the net but i wanted to check around to see if anyone had one that they are really happy with. If you can, go ahead and give me a website or a vendors phone number. Thanx

i've seen people with those for street bikes before. i don't know how durable they r, but they must make them pretty good considering a lot of pro quaterbacks use them.

my brother and one of his friends he rides with have the chatterbox,
he says the works prety good. I'm probably gonna look into those
hand held 2 way radio's with the 2 mile radius and see if there is a
voice activated one, like the chatter box. I know you can get the head
set for them but not sure about the voice activation like the chatterbox

we have some voice activated radios here at work that would great. they have about 2 to 3 mile rangedepending on the hills( we only have hills around here) the only problem is they cost a little over $1200 a piece. surely somebody makes some good ones. If you find some post it in here. I really need some for me and my kids when we ride. one place we ride is a little over 800 acres and if I get seperated from my 6 year old son it could be pretty hard to find him.

Boy those are expensive. I bought a couple good Motorola FPS radios with a 5 mile range (cost around $90 for two, with a recharging dock), and bought the headphones with mic attached (about $25 each). Used them up at Silver Lake Sand Dunes without any problems.

Have used the Collett Communicators for years and they have worked very well. Web Site is "www.collettcommunicators.com"

Voice Activation so no switch on handlebars. 2 channels, comes with everything that you need.

Good luck on your selection.

We use the communicator 900 from Collett Electronics. They are a company from Canada. We reciently used the radio's on a 4 day trip on the Piaute ATV trail. They worked very good. (I didn's say Great) The batteries last a full day before they need recharging. Communication is good and clear, but with only a 1/2 mile range. So many trees and hills really cut down the line of sight of both radios. Yes they are durable, I rolled my quad, snaped off the visor of my helmet, though the radio still worked...I was able to call for help.

I hope this helps.
