Here's a ?...what do you pull your trailer to the woods/dunes with?..what kind of trailer is it.?.and what would you have if money was no object? you know 3/4 or 1 ton , gas- diesel, fifth wheel or pull ..what length and most important..what make?

I pull my baby on a 53inch by 84 inch trailer custom made to fit her like a tight dress. She loves it. You can see her smiling on it in my pics page. My dream trailer would be what a friend has. 2000 Ford F-550, diesel, six speed, four door. It pulls a 44' trailer that is a full 8' high and wide. It has 20' full living quarters and 24' cargo. Stainless Steel cabinets in back, generator, dual A/C's. The best part is that it is for sale[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img], but I don't have the money[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]. Oh well.

If I am only taking my 2 then they ride in an enclosed trailer that I bought just for them , lettered "BOMB SQUAD" pulled by my Lincoln Navigator if I am taking my friends too then I take our 44' enclosed goosneck and pull it with our 2000 chevy crew cab that LOVES gas. takes 7 1/2 hours to get to LS and had to stop every 150 miles to refuel. a whooping 6 miles to the gallon[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I got a 01 f250 superduty diesel crew cab 4x4 lifted and behind it i pull a 04 weekend warrior 34' triple axle trailer. Its close to perfect. Click here for pic of rig

4x4 excursion. ijust pick my DS up and pitch it on the roof rack.
18' trailer actually.

 

I pull a custom made 6.5' X 14' steel quad trailer with a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4X4. It works great! But if money was no object, I'd probably pull a 35' fifth wheel 'Weekend Warrior' style trailer (with two slide-outs and a completely separate garage that could hold four full-size quads) behind a 2004 Dodge 1-ton dually quad cab 4X4 with a V-10...wait a minute...if money was truly no object, I'd be staying at the finest hotels, be chauffeured to the dunes in a stretch Escalade, and arrive with my awaiting DS all warmed up and perfectly tuned by my personal mechanic![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

If you look on my picture page, you'll see a picture of a custom F650 pickup. Combine that with a rather large trailer and I think I'd be good. I haven't looked enough at trailers to know exactly what I'd buy, however I'm certain on the truck. I'd probably get the CAT diesel engine as well. "If it's not a CAT it's a dog!"
