Its got the 454 w/auto trans. Probably could have done better if we wern't going between 80 and 90 mph most of the way. We had to make up time for all the gas stops.

It's about time somebody mentioned Peterbilt! Those things are the Cadillacs of heavy haulers. If I could have any toy hauler, it would be a Pete 379X with a 550 Cat and a custom trailer like they use in Nascar with the living quarters up front and full shop/garage in the back.

My cousin and I went to the dunes once with a '78 Peterbilt and a 48' trailer with a hydraulic beavertail as our toy hauler. That got some looks when the back of the trailer lowered to the ground.

But until I strike it rich, I just put the DS in the back of my '98 Dodge 1500 with a V6.

BTW- The CAT engines they put in Ford F-750's are dogs.

Almost forgot to put what I want. We are going to get a toterhome with a mininum conversion of 18' and going to get rid of our 44' trailer and get a 36' tag. Hopefully have them by april or may of 2004.

We pull our toys with a 2002 Chevy 2500HD Crew Cab LT Duramax... Either we have one in the box of the truck (with a EZ-Pull loader) and 2 snowmobiles (or quads) in a large trailer (with a front shield for wind resistance and to stop road salt from flying on the machines during winter).
