Rear clutch for scrambler 500
#1
I have heard alot about hpd's shift drum conversion and aaen's roller clutch and also this team secondary rear clutch... Dose anyone have any of these on their quad and how do they perform and their pros and cons, and witch is the best bang for your buck?
Thanks,

The Aaen roller is by far the cheapest way to go. It just replaces the buttons and helix in the stock secondary. I dont know much about the HPD shift drum conversion though. And the TEAM clutch is by far the best secondary on the market. So take your pick. All 3 will improve over stock. I put HPS superduty buttons in my clutch when I did my clutch kit. They still look pretty good. However, when the need replacing (or maybe sooner) my choice will come down to the Aaen roller conversion and the TEAM clutch (depending on the size of my wallet)

I use the Aaen roller action secondary. I believe it to be worth more than a clutch kit when it comes to performance. I would easily lay the money down again. As far as brand, I think they all do the same thing so go with what your most comfortable with. Aaens is also the whole drum conversion, not just replacing the buttonsand helix. The photo in this link shows the drum and a new helix. Aaen clutch parts
