03 suzuki ltz 400 clutch not releasing
So on my ltz, when running in neutral everything is great. With the clutch lever pulled and shifting to first the quad lunges and dies. I adjusted the cable as much as possible, still happens. So I figured maybe the clutches are sticking. I replaced the clutch pack and before putting the covery back on I wanted to test and verify correct operation. Now when I have the clutch lever pulled and shift into first and attempt to move the quad, with the clutch lever still pulled, I notice the pressure plate spinning and the quad is somewhat difficult to move.
My question is, is this a normal condition or am I missing something?
I know with cars and trucks when you push the clutch, the power is completely disconnected from the trans and the vehicle moves as if it is in nuetral.
Is this also the case with quads and dirtbikes?
Thanks
