My son has a 1986 trx 125 and the owners manuel states the dry weight is 313 lbs. Also alot of parts are still around.

Did they quit making the trx125 because it didn't have enough power?

Anyways, I think in 1985, the Fourtrax Utility was a 200 and then in '86, they brought out the 250 model. Both bikes look very similar. I hope they dind't have the same transmissions...

Hey now... thanks for the info, thought I was gona have to go buy the manual before the bike. Might not be a bad idea anyway. . . . . Well 320 pounds is not too bad for quad, , , guess I cud also take a closer look at the trx 200.
Thanks much for the info.... to this date it's the first solid reply.

I have an '85 TRX 125, and I know for a fact that it's 313 pounds. Just to let you know, top speed will be around 30-35 miles an hour (GPS), and also there is absolutely no front or rear suspension. Keep in mind that the 200 has a front, which helps somewhat. One of my friends has one, and it's an '84, shaft drive. The 125 is chain drive. (shaft will pull wayyy better) Any other questions, just ask me on this forum. I'll be gone for the weekend, but I'll take a look here hopefully on monday.
