Keep in mind that the 200 has a front, which helps somewhat. One of my friends has one, and it's an '84, shaft drive. The 125 is chain drive. (shaft will pull wayyy better) Any other questions, just ask me on this forum. I'll be gone for the weekend, but I'll take a look here hopefully on monday.
Hey you've got a Citation...
1985 Ski-Doo Citation LS electro

What kind of engine does it have? I have a 1980 3500 Citation (single cylinder 270cc)

I can't believe I'm not the only one with a citation! Mine is a 250cc 1 cylinder. It's oil injected, has electric start and is in absolutely MINT condition. Has maybe 500 miles on it. Bought it last spring off a farmer for 1000$ CDN I could sell it for 2000$ CDN for the condition it's in! I might sell it to get a skandic or tundra for hunting/trapping, I need that long track. Do you like your citation?

Well we have the exact same engine in our Citations, but I always say mine is 270 because I have no idea if it's called a 250 or 300...

On my engine, it says 268.2 I think so I round it up to 270. Sometimes I enjoy driving my Citation more than my Mach 1 because it's so light and easy to handle. It's top speed is about 40MPH and I can get it to do 75MPH if I modify my clutch and put a pipe on it and all that kind of stuff. I know it can go so much faster than it goes now because when I'm going full pin, it revs high and I'm at full speed in no time at all. Anyone here know how I can get more top end out of the Citation without sacrificing it's mid range power (I can tell you it has very little low end power, it must engage at 2000 RPM though but I have no proof of that)

You can say that again: no low end power. That's exactly why I'd like a Tundra or skandic, to haul that deer out of the bush. As a matter of fact, last winter one of my friends went with his Tundra (266cc) moose hunting. He shot one and actually pulled it right out of the bush in deep snow. I couldn't believe it until I saw a picture and other people were there too. For more top end, one guy said you could put a V-force reed, whatever that is, I have no idea how much money it is or how much more power you'll get.

I'm gonna check and see if you have aim. I can send you a video of my citation if you want. Anyways, it barely moves when you give it little gas, you have to push it at least half throttle to make it move.

My Mach 1 on the other hand, moves with the slighest touch (well it has to get up to about 3000 RPM). I'm going to tell you this though, it really moves when I'm pushing it right to the end!

The Red River around here is good enough to ride on and I took the little citation for a ride. I opened it up on the river, and boy does that little engine scream, at least when I'm not wearing a helmet. It's faster then my Big Red 250, and that went around 48-50 miles an hour, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's top end is around 50-54.7 mph. Gotta check on the GPS next time.
