Default I need help please....

I have a 1997 banshee that just got rebuilt a couple months ago, stock carbs and jetting. when i start it, it idles fine, when i give it gas, it "whomps"( makes a very low tone with no power what so-ever). can someone please help me out here. idk whats wrong! any help appreciated.

nah, thats what i thought it was too first, i bought a new set of NGKs and it still did it. thanks anyway.

Default I need help please....

Same thing happened to me a week ago and fixed it on Saturday. It is definetely something in your carbs, both of my pilot jets were clogged. Most likely you have one or more clogged jets.

Ok, thanks, i figured it had something to do with the carbs. were taking it to the mechanic wed. so he can figure it out. ill tell him about that so he'll probly check there first and cost a lot less bucks in the later run maybe.

I would say to do it yourself, because I am 14 and took my carbs out and cleaned them by myself, but thats only if you have any mechanical skill. I do most of the work on my Raptor by myself because I have a mechanical backround. I've been helping rebuild complete engines since I was 10.
