I'm considering buying a 450 es and got a good price on a 03. Are there any changes for the 04 models? Do they have an adapter for cigarett lighter (for GPS power), how about seat comfort? I've read all the other posts in this forum about their reliability and that has convinced me to buy. How about comfort with a passenger? I'm used to riding a prarie 650 and it has plenty of power to haul two people around, what about the 450 with two people. Thanks for any info!

It will haul 2 people around no problem. My '98 has a cigarette lighter on it already, its on the left side of the instrument cluster, seat foam is thick and comfy.

 

I have a 2001 model 450ES. Plenty of power for two, 3, 4 or however many up. It can do a ton of work. The seat is not bad. I've ridden mine all day with no sore bottom. The thing is bullet proof. I don't know the difference between the '03 and '04 models, if any. If they are as good as mine you'll love 'em, either one of 'em.

 

I just bought a '03 and I asked the dealership what was the difference if any. He replied that there were no difference, it is the same EXACT bike.
