Default 2 stroke care

Hi all I just got a 2000 Polaris Trailblazer 250, it is a 2 stroke. I am more used to having 4 strokes, and I am at the understanding that 2 strokes are harder to maintain than 4 strokes. Can anyone give me like a basic maintaence routine for a certain amout of time, miles, hours, or anything like that. What I mean is like changing certain oils or greasing certain spots, etc. It would be greatly appriciated. Here are some spects for my quad:

Year 2000
Polaris
250cc 2 stroke engine
automatic transmission
oil injection
chain drive
hydrolic brakes
its stock, as far as I know

The 250 Polaris is pretty easy to maintain. Just keep your oil resivior full. Check you spark plug ever so often to keep an eye on your jetting. You have no coolant or counter balance to worry about.

Oh, also, make sure your drain your starter if you go into any deep water holes
