Not sure if the other models have a similar setup........

I was riding today after our first real snowfall up here in Northern Ontario. After the snow changed to rain through the night, the trails became a soupy mess of slush and mud. (I'll be wearing better boots next time!)
Obviously the slush/mud combo was coating the underneath of my bike which is to be expected. I was horrified to look down and see my gauge flashing HOT HOT HOT! After turning the machine off, I worriedly checked things out (my bike is not very old) Loe and behold the fan was plugged with slush and couldn't move. I cleared it out and the fan came on as soon as turned on the ignition. Thank goodness thats all it was. Just thought I'd let you know because I'm sure with more snow on the horizon, us sportsman owners will have to watch for this. May have to come up with some kind of shield.........

Good to know. I know the radiator likes to pack up with mud and over heat. Have not really had the 7 out in much yet it was a dry summer. I use mine for plowing and hauling firewood in the winter.

Old news. IF you run into this problems guys have done many different things. easy as keeping an eye on it or attaching some matting to prevent it from happening.. good luck
