what do all the letters mean at the end of some quad names mean like 400ex and 250r?
just wonderin...i never really thought about it before......caus i no the numbers mean how many cc it is...then the name of it....

 

Just letters. most brands use letters like kvf klf yz yfz yzf r rr yfm and many many others . its just a letter or letters they designate to a specific bike for record purposes. some people will say no the r stands for racing. well what does yz yfz yzf stand for they wont get past y for yamaha f for four stroke k for kawasaki and p for polaris.
