what is the best kind of oil to buy for a stock 2000 tb 250?

go to a polaris dealer and they sell two stroke oil for the trailblazer

ya i ran the gold in mine when i had it.. expensive ****... but it lastest me forever... well worth the extra $$$$

You'll probrably get alot of different answers for this one. I use Polaris Gold. It is a little more expensive than some alternatives that some people have had good results with. It really doesn't use that much oil, so to me, it's just one less thing I worry about. If you're going to spend half your time riding, worrying about your oil, then it's really not worth it.

I use the Polaris Gold oil also. I have 2 400's so I buy a gallon at a time and its about $29.00.

I was using Pol-gold, this past Sunday it was 30f out in Wva, I checked my oil it was thick as hell (like molasis) so I completely drained it since I already had a gallon of Amsoil injector oil sitting on the shelf I filled it, went riding, I noticed that my tb ran a lot better, the difference I noticed is the Amsoil stays thin at any temp, but the motor uses more of it than with the Pol-gold
