Whats the reasoning behind Honda not having reverse on some of thier sport quads. I have a few ideas why but there must be a good theory behind it. I know a lot of people who were turned off with Honda because of this. I will always be a Honda fanatic but was just wondering...

I guess they will be turned off by Yamaha too with the release of the reverseless YFZ 450.
I think they do it to save weight, I guess you don't need reverse on a track, makes trail riding more convenient.

i agree on the ability to pick up your sport quad to turn it around, sorry for jumpin in on the honda forum but u ever try liftin the front end of a ds650? the things a tank! i dunno, the lack of reverse never botherd me so far, just pick good lines to ride, i try at least so i don't have to pick up the front and turn it around and find another line, dunes have alot of lines though... peace...josh....
