never goin' back??

I got a pretty good story of why you would need reverse on a DS650. Well i went out to this sand pit in the winter with my friend and his dad who rides a ds650. Well in the middle of the sandpit was a huge pond, only about a foot deep, that was frozen over. I wasnt sure if it could hold but if it couldn't i could just back out. Well, it couldnt hold, and i back right out. But my friends dad with the DS650 just boosts right in. Gets stuck. He doesnt wanna get off so me and his son have to go in the freezing water and pull out a DS650. The worst part was that we went to another trail after that and traveled about 9 miles on it with numb feet. And then we jsut had to travel the 9 miles back. It was seroiusly one of the worst rides iv'e been on. Other than that one time though, the DS usually just powers through everything.
