2004 ForeMan 450 ES Tire Size?
#1
Hey Guys;
I have finished the break-in miles on my Honda,I am ready to put better tires on it now.
I do not want anything bigger than 26", so my first choice was ITP MudLites. What size front and rear can I go with so that it won't rub? But if there is a better choice for me besides ITP's please let me know. I am a hunter so I will have heavy loads(150-175lbs) on the rear rack and will also be pulling heavy loads. I do not want any fender rubbing so before I buy I need your help.
THANKS
HilBilly

Get yourself a set of mudbugs. Go 26x10x12 on the front and 26x12x12 on the rear. You will have no problems with rubbing and the traction from these 6ply tires is excellent. I run them on my '03 450ES.

I have 27x12 in the rear and 27x9 in the front on stock wheels and suspension. I have never had any rubbing, so I would imagine that you would have no trouble with the same widths in a 26" tire, although I highly reccommend the 27's for the added ground clearance.
