who would win in a race and which one is better then the other and in what way is it better

 

Race would be close...probably dead even, it would depend on the driver, weight, experience, ect...Honda is the better all around quad...better quality and reliability. GO BLUE

 

who cares. they are both utility quads with sport plastic.

 

I just raced a 250ex today against a more experienced rider. I left him in the dust. I pulled ahead right at the start and kept pulling ahead, he had no chance. The Z250 is an all around better quad. plus, the z has a 29mm carb compared to the 20mm ex, and the ex has a 229cc engine, the z has a 246cc. I think both quads are great but the z is the better buy. And no theyre not utility quads

 

they are wanna be sport quads.

 

The 250 ex IS built around a recon frame, but it's not a recon and its not a utility...I would call it a trail sport quad, thats were it excels. And I respectfully completely disagree that a z is better, I have heard numerous stories about the reliability of this quad, it has a good engine surrounded by inferior parts. I would buy a 250ex before a z250 and day of the week. But thats just my opinion.

if u post in the honda forum your going to get more honda opinians. also it is which brand you like the best and the z goes about 54 and the ex goes about 52. They are bothh good so like i said its what you like better.
