Which tire would be best rear tires for my blaster for trails? 22x11x8 Titan fast trekkers or 22x10x8 Bandits? They wont be too big for a blaster will they? I want decent traction and durability. Also the trekkers are only $36 a piece and the bandits are $55. Tell me what you think. thanks

 

On my old 95' Blaster i used to ride i had 22x11x8 Titan Fast Trekker's. They worked great for me and i did alot of muddin and trailridin, however they do rub when u corner, this has never affected anything except make a noise when u turn and i've had them on for about a year and a ½, it took me no time to get used to. However, other people get afraid when u let them ride it and they're like "dude its makin a noise."

 

I just tried to buy 22x10x9 for my 400ex and Rocky Mountain ATV said they were backordered until May 2004. Although you have a different rim size for that tire, I wonder if anything is going on with that company considering they had a 7 month delay in delivery. Check and see if the bandits are even available. The bandit rears are excellent tires. They are stiff walled so they wont roll and have very deep treads that bite. I ride in the rocky desert with alot of cactus and they hold up very well.

 

Since the bandits and trekkers are both square profile tires, how much ground clearance would I lose compared to the 21" balloon tires on it now if I put 20" bandits or trekkers? I need all the ground clearance I can get for Chadwick. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
