Hey everyone I have the coolster 3125B. Bought a few years back for my son. It always ran great but then started to give us starting issues which I deemed to be the carb. People have said they like to be cleaned out. I never did that but will either do that or grab another one.


We cranked it & cranked it never started, gave up, put it away & now brought it back out months later & nothing but clicking in the coil.


Charged old battery but no luck. Anyone else have this issue & what did you do or recommend to solve this? Thanks

 

If you have a voltage meter, measure the voltage on the battery with and without trying to start. Batteries never last in off road toys.

 

Yes will do that for sure. Process of elimination as they say!

 

Yes, check bat voltage and if that checks out then check your ground and connections. Make sure they are clean and well connected.

 

You can also jump the starter by putting 12 volts directly to it, to verify engine lock up or seize.
