Hello Campers,

Is there any difference ( other that price ) in these 3 winches?
I can get a superwinch 1500 # winch out of Summit for $149. Which is a hell of alot cheaper than Ramsey and Warn....

Is 1500# enough for my machine (SP 600)?

The Super wich is not near the quality of the others. I would go with the WARN.

 

I have an older Warn 2000 and a Ramsey 2500 - I've had to replace the end housing on the Warn 2 times now as the plastic housing strips out if too much load is put on it. I've never had any problems with the Ramsey (of course it's all metal construction). I haven't paid attention as to whether Warn fixed this problem with their newer models.

The Warn came on my SP400 when I got it, the Ramsey on my wife's SP500 I got off Ebay NIB for $120.
