When I was choosing a carb I called many places, But ended up with TC racing. I talked to the owner and he has tried every size on the 400EX and the 36mm carb, which costs $220,is the carb that hits the hardest and has the best throttle response. Most of his racing 400ex's have this size and his bikes are all in the top five spots for the four stroke mod class. I told him the riding thatI do, which was just dunes, and this is the set up he gave me for my purpose. With this size I won't be going through the gas that a 38mm or a 39mm would go through. Your carb may be for a different purpose than mine, besides a lectron carb has always been known to perform well.
