Default HD Rear Spring for Xplorer

I have a 1998 400 Xplorer and the back really sags on acceleration or when I have gear on the rear rack. Does anybody know where to get a Heavier Duty rear spring?

at the bottom of the shock there is an adjuster if you buy or have a tool you can adjust it so its a harder ride which is what i have done. hope that helps

Default HD Rear Spring for Xplorer

A friend of mine just changed out his hd springs for some lighter ones. The ones he was using are off a 96 sportsman 400. I think they are the same... I will see if he still has them. His complaint was that they were too stiff.

I have the adjuster set to the firmest setting and it still compresses terribly. I have read that Polaris makes some HD springs, but I don't know if they make them for the xplorer since it has a single rear spring and shock.

Kingman, the 95-96 sportsman 400's and the explorers were pretty much the same frame with one rear mono shock in the rear.
