Big waste of money! Stockers work fine! You will see MINIMAL gains from either set of reeds and it will be hardly noticible. What kind of setup are you running now? If its stock, you can probably be able to get a good set of pipes from ebay for around 200-250 bucks (price of vforce reeds).

if you do decide to get the reeds.... go with the v-force reeds....i think there worth every penny! i noticed a huge difference on my bike! but if you dont have a pipe and filter.... i would definitely start with those!

Rad valve would be the only one to be a real change and you dont need more reed flow until you have a hot motor.

Hey, I ported my stock ones and it made a big difference in top end performance, let me know if your interested? and the best thing is the stock look when someone looks your bike over before a race and you surprise them when you get on the gas.

V-force reeds are the only way to go. I run them in my trail bike and race bike. The builder that currently has my race bike motor recommends them also. I noticed a huge difference in my FTZ ported stock cages and the V-forces. Mid range pipes such as pro-circuits, a little more compression, 2n1 filter, and V-force make the perfect low to mid combination. They work great in mild engines like this as well as being recommended for my new 75+hp motor.

I don't know how the rad valve is designed, but most aftermarket intakes won't work with them. Intakes have to be modified to use the v-force, and they come with detailed instructions and hardware for the modifications.

boyesen all the way,as any 2 stroke, they respond better to reeds with pipes and porting.
