WOLVERINE Swingarm How do I remove it?? Help!
#1
How do you or what is involved in removing the WOLVERINE swingarm in getting to the Swingarm Bearings to lube & repack? Are the drive shaft universal joints sealed? I need someone to tell me what I've got to do to get this done. Every Yamaha or ATV I've ever owned didn't have enough grease in the Swingarms or the "A" arms and always needed grease if you wanted to keep them in proper working order.
Someone out there HELP!
Thanks a million and to all a Happy Turkey day!

Not too bad of a job, since there is no long bolt, you don't need to take the swingarm off, just a short stub bolt on each side with a tapered bearing under a washer, there will also be a thin o ring, just pack the new bearing and install on one side at a time, that way the swing arm can stay on. I took my swing arm off, you'd be surprised how much water and crap gets inside that hollow tube. it will be fun getting the driveshaft back on,if you have a helper to hold things steady,it shouldn't be too bad. But if you just want to put the bearings in, just do one side at a time, and you will be fine.
