what is the best exhaust for the yfz450
#2
Go to a long straight road, gas it wide open in 5th and ther you have it.....your quad will go as fast as it can!!!
Seriously though...wait till one of the ***** bag magazines comes out with their YFZ exhaust pipe shootout.
I have a carbon fibre GYTR full exhaust and absolutely love it.
Good luck with whatever you choose!!

From what I've found, all pipes get the yfz up to about the same spec, it's just how they go about doing it...i.e., fast acceleration, or low and smooth and then scream in the mid-range. Any pipe will get you your "fast speed", just research the curves and see where the power will come on hardest and how it will suit your needs. If you ride in wide open places, a mid to high pipe works great, if you ride a lot of tight stuff, a low-mid with nice carry to top will be your preferance.

The fit of the graydon pipe sucks and there's no heat sheild. So if you like exhaust leaks and your boot melting to your leg that's the one to get.
