Default 1991 trx250x stalling

Hi I have a 1991 trx250x that starts up fast and rides good but I'm having a issue at top speed. It gets there and drives good but after a few seconds it starts to stall but if you let go of the throttle it doesn't die but if you hold it the atv will stall and day. Any advice? Its stock but has a white brothers exhaust on it.

Default Simple fix.

How long has it sat. It might need the carb cleaned and a new air filter

It hasn't been sitting I run it every week or every other week for a good while, I do the oil changes on time and the air filter was changed recent. Also I had someone rebuild and clean the carb, I changed the spark plug, cdi, and the ignition coil (I believe that's what it's called)

Clean the jets in your carburetor, more specifically your main jet. Possible adjust your needle to allow more fuel. If it doesn't want to run at little throttle or pops and backfires clean your pilot jets. In my opinion you cleaning one you'd be a very special kind of person if you didn't go ahead and clean all of them. Or fuel filter or petcock plugged.
