motofast 2 into 1 jetting
#1
I have a 2000 banshee w/ moto fast 2into1 pipes, I live in fl at sea level, stock carbs, pro design filter adapter and foam filter, air box on w/8 1" holes drilled thru, no snorkle, I had pro-circuit pipes on the bike and they worked great, but I want to race motocross, so I wanted to smooth out the power band. I ran 270 main jets with the pro-circuits,this is too rich, I want to know if anybody out there can give me a safe starting point. thanks for any help.

I've got the moto-fast pipe on mine.
If you ask Jimmy, the owner, he'll tell you to go with 22.5 pilots and 210 mains WITH the snorkel on and airbox unmodded.
I had to have the snorkel off, so I put 220s in and left the stock 25 pilots. I had to raise the needle to the highest position because it was sputtering as though it was lean when I really took it upstairs. I still probably need to put some 230 in it and lower the clip back down.
By the way, this pipe makes woods riding so much easier. You can just lug it around in second gear like your four-stroke buddies do, but still have a great rush of power when needed.
