Anybody do this yet? I am considering having a spare set of cylinders sleeved with an Advanced Sleeve Corp. aluminum sleeve then have it nikasiled by US Chrome. Then I will have them ported (not sure by who). I plan on doing this in stages to help keep the impact on my wallet soft. First I would buy the sleeves, then have them installed at the shop that I work at. Then send them out to get nikasiled and finally have them ported for MX/TT and dirt oval racing. Like I said this is a spare set of cylinders so I am in no rush to do this, just looking for feedback. I know I might just be throwing money away, but hey, it's my money so I will waste it if I want to:-)

I might reccommend having them ported and then plated. There's always a risk that as you cut into a port window the plating can get an "edge" that can flake off. Doesn't happen very often, but if it does, replating is necessary. Nikasil cylinders are a good idea.
