Default 400ex Grab bar, Please reply!1

Hey i got a 03 400ex.. and i just installed a new WB E-series... i added some more baffles... and the power increase was huge... however i was doing a wheelie and went back onto the grab bar.. normaly this isnt a problem but, with the new exhaust and added baffles the tip of the silencer touched the ground (just picked up some grass and scratched it a big), so i was thinking insted of losing that power, i should get a new grab bar... i looked at my grab bar and there doesnt seem to be any screws or anything... so my first quetion is Can the rear grab bar be replaced, and 2 is there a grab bar that is about 1-2 inches longer (farther from the seat).

If you know of any please send me a link or part name and price...

P.S whats a good site to find after market 400ex parts?

there are no bolts or screws on your grab bar because there are no bolts or screws at all to put a new one on you will have to weld it try gettting a 250r one and then welding it your self or if you dont have to means bring it to a welding shop

there are no screws to take the grab bar loose on a 400 ex; however, I have heard of people cutting the bar (behind the seat latch) somewhere, drilling holes and bolting an after market on. How well it works and the links of the grab bars themselves I have no clue.

How many disk are you running on your E-series?

PRM makes some grab bars for the 400 that bolt on without having to cut and weld. I think they use U bolts, but I'm not sure.

just go ahead and get a new subframe, no way to switch grab bars unless you cut and weld
