Just got one. Installed in about 10 minutes. You need to grind the little spot weld off the original cap if you want to use the spark arrestor (I used a Dremell). Gives the Kodiak a great "deep throaty" exhaust note. As for performance, I Have not rode to much with it. It does have a much bigger opening than the stock, so it must flow better. Very fast delivery from the ebayer. Ordered on the 16th, had on my doorstep on the 20th. I'm pretty satisfied with it.

I put one on my Grizzly and one on the wife's Kodiak 400. Both bikes now sound like they should nice and throaty but not too loud. I did'nt jet either because both bikes come from Yamaha WAAAAAAAY to rich. I've felt some increase in torque and gained 3-4 Mph on top with the Grizz and 2-3 Mph on the Kodiak. I'd say its money well spent and the seller of these items on EBay had quick delivery and seems to be a very nice guy. He answered any and all questions I had.

Anyone of you guys do the muffler mod to your quads in addition to the end cap, or is it just the end cap?....Im considering doing the muffler mod from the grizz, the mufflers are identical. Just dont want it too loud, if I add a end cap too.

I hunt so I did'nt do the exhaust mod by drilling into the baffles. Now, a friend of mine did and his bike is loud very loud. The tip alone in my opinion sounds like the Grizzly should, for that matter the Kodiak also.
