I just purchased one of those end caps for my 450 Kodiak (haven't gotten it yet) and was just wondering from those that have had it awhile are you still happy with the purchase or would you of rather went with an after market exhaust?? (are there any for the 450???)

Also has anyone installed a clutch kit on the 450 if so does/will it give the wheeler more power? Is a clutch kit worth the money??

You you think that If i get the end cap and rejet and do the k&n Air filter it would make a difference???

 

I have end caps and K+N filters on my Grizz 660 and the wifes Kodiak 400. I did'nt need to rejet either bike. Both come from Yamaha WAY too rich for Florida "sea level". This leaned both bikes out perfect.

 

You can get a K&n for your kodiak if it is a 05 irs bike. Email me I will give you the part number. Also I bought the blutch kit but have not installed it yet and I am waiting for an exhaust to come out.
