I know this dood who is getting a '03 Z400 said it is 8 months old. good condition (i sure hope it would be for a 03) says has bill of sale and would sell it for 4,000. That what he just started at, Im sure i could talk him down if he said that first. What you guys think. Obviously i would check it out first and all. Just didnt know if you heard of that machine going for that price,or if its good/ bad. Let me know.

The real question is do you trust this guy?
did he ride hard?
If he didn't abuse it very much, than I'd say look it over really good, talk him down to what you can and go for it.

i have had mulitple bad expearances with a 500 h.o. belts hubs cv axels, it was a mess. good thing i got it for 2 grand with 6 miles on it. and that is the honest price.

 

Trust him? Hahahah, NOPE!!! But once i see the machine and He sees the green. Trust dont matter. LoL (im hoping it is in good shape)

 

Now I have to hear this story. $2000 for a brand new sp 500 ho. I fully understand that they might only be worth half that but come on. Maybe the Porche owner or the guy in the limo gave you a good deal. Even hot they sell for more.

Just having a hard time believing some of this stuff. Two grand is probably half what a dealer buys them for.
