Twin peaks 700 & King quad 700 ????

Why is suzuki coming out with 2 700cc 4 x4 quads so close to each other?? I know that the Twin Peaks is a rebadged kawasaki V twin and the King Quad is all Suzuki, the only thing I am hoping for is that the King Quad has been designed for the more sportier rider in mind with long travel suspension and maybe even a manual clutch, they are not going to bring out two quads designed for the same market, we can only hope that the King Quad will be a sport 4 x 4 with 700cc fuel injected , long travel independant suspension and manual 5 speed box, that would be good!!!!

Yeah well, I thought about waiting for the King Quad but if its anything like Suzuki's current time table of releases, alas the Twin Peaks it will b e this time next year before they make it to the dealer's floors.

i'd take the king over the twin peaks. i have a feeling the twin peaks will be the sportier of the 2 quads tho. but man that king is fuel injected, independant rear suspension, locking front diffy. i love it.

they are coming out with them so close is because the twin peaks is just here until the king comes out and then no more twin peaks, and yes the king quad will be more sportier with locking diff and irs i would rather have the king for all around useage

The twin Peaks will likely be the sport utility of the two, I have had three different IRS bike and none of them were what I would call sporty. I have found that the solid axle bikes are a lot more fun to ride than the IRS bikes, try doing a doughnut or a power slide on a sportsman and then a P650/P700 and you will know what I am talking about. I like an IRS bike for all day trail rides for the added comfort but when its time to play I would rather be on a solid axel bike with lots of power. IRS bike are also typicaly heavy and not that good at jumping, however they are better in the mud because of the added ground clearance.
I doubt they drop the Twin Peaks when the King Quad comes out because they do ride and perform so much different from each other. Similar to the way Kawi has kept the Z400 in its lineup even though they have a sport quad of there own design, but very different from the z in ride and performence.
