What would win in a drag of a stock 04 pred VS a stock 04 YZ 125? lets say.... 200-300 yards?

 

If it is a newer YZ125 then it will take you in a drag sadly.

 

WHAT!??? A Predator, Raptor, DS650, yfz450 and alike quads will make a 125 look pathetically stupid! Wouldn't even be a race! A 400EX would beat a stock 125 for crying out loud!

 

After some research I will agree that I opended my mouth to quick. A Predator is faster than a stock YZ125 of any year in a drag race.

However I just dont think a 400ex will beat a new YZ125 at anything.

 

Yea i agree duce on the preditor beating the yz but a stock 400ex would get beat. My blaster would beat a stock 400ex and i got blown away by a yz125 the roost hurt like hell.....

I have rode both and there is no way a preadator , raptor or any four stroke stock will beat a yz 125, think about it.

 

the bike will feel faster but it is a tad slower than the new big bore sport quads.

 

my friend has a yz 250F(four stroke) and has raced many quads and beat them all he has even raced with a busa and kept up with him until about 50...........the preditor will get burned

 

The 3 guys that I ride with have a 01 DS650 with just a K&N, a 95 YZ125 with a Wiesco, UNI, and ProCircuit Plat. pipe, and a stock 03 YZ125. The 3 of them raced for about 1/2 mile on a flat dirt rode. They were pretty much even the whole way with the DS about 1 quad length ahead of the 03 YZ at the end. You must keep in mind that it is not just 125cc compared to 650cc (for example). The dirtbikes just have a lot better power to weight ratio, plus the snappyness of the 2 smoke
