Default What length swingarm?

I am considering the JTM extension..........
I was just wondering what length all the other 686 rappys are running?

Why not run a +2. I think that would be plenty. And you wouldn't lose a lot of turning diameter or anything.

I couldn't decide between a +2 and a +4 so I cut mine and made it a +3. I like it.

+2 on mine, works great on the MX track and tight woods trails.

What kind of riding will you be doing?

If you are just drag racing get the +4. If you are riding the tight trails as well the +2 would be better.

For general duning and drag racing I think the +4.

Any true 50 hp Raptors with a +4 or a JTM extension (4.5") think that theirs is too long for pure drags?

I am trying to decide between a +4 or a +6. I think the 6 would be better for asphault, but might be a little long for dirt. And then just the opposite for the +4.

+6 is great for racing and duning with paddles on a 686, but if you use knobbies in soft stuff (cinders) quite a bit I would get a +4(this is what my dad and unckle are using with their sparks' 690s)

With my mild stock bore Rap, I can still get the front end up when needed with my Tucker +4. At the drag strip, where traction is high, I still cannot make a full run WFO without the front end raising too high 1/2 too 3/4 through the pass. Feathering the clutch and letting off both hurt ET. I exclusively woods and trail ride and have not noticed any problems with turning radius.
