Raptor rear wheel movement
#4
before just torqueing the hub nuts down, pull it off and make sure the splines arent stripping on you. Both sides of mine did the same thing. I was lucky enough to be able to put them on opposite sides long enough to finish up the weekend. Then had Yamaha replace the axle and hubs on warranty. Good luck.

Thanks for the replys and ideas. here's my problem in a little more detail. When the rear end is lifted the left wheel is fine no play at all but for the right wheel it seems as though the actuall hub has some slack and can move abit side to side.
The axle seems fine no bends but i wouldnt be suprised if its got a slight bend as i've wheel spacers in the back and i jump a little.
Any help would be helpfull

Yep, sounds like the axle nut is a little loose. Take out the cotter key and crank down on that bad boy, should clear up your wobble until/unless it loosens again. I had a terrible time with the stock hubs on an aftermarket axle. Durablue rear hubs solved my problem, haven't come loose since I installed them.

I fixed the problem, and sure enough it was the hub nut that was loose and now theirs know play in the hub so it was obviosly the cause of the slack in the hub. Thanks for the advise
