Default Should i get a steering stabilizer

Hey, i have a 2000 bomb and i do alot a trail riding and my arms get really tired from the tires grabbing because it so wide on trails with ruts for a normal size quad. Anyways will a steering stabilizer help this or what. Does it make it harder to turn. If i need one what would be the best choice for my style riding. By the way the DS is the bomb, Ive had it for 3 months and dont regret anything about it. ALot better than my old warrior

A stabilizer will keep it from ripping the bars out of your hands when you grab a rock or tree but it will require more muscle on tight trails.

Since you do a lot of trail ridding you do need one. I ran without one for a while and almost killed myself many times when the bars were yanked from my hands. Once I put on the stablizer, no prbs at all. Unless your on a real slow trail with lots of tight turns. But for the most part as long as your rolling it's not to bad.

When I first got my 2003 baja I did some trail riding in the rain and didnt see the big rock hidden between the high grass and brush. Well I then caught the rock with my left front wheel in a split second then the handle bars spun around the bike stalled and my wrist was broken!! So I then installed a DENTON steering stabilizer which has about 7 settings and works great. A pain in the *** to install but well worth it. I set mine on about 5 which is just fine and you get used to it real quick forgetting the stabilizer is even there!
