well my mom was cleaning the house and accidentaly through my key away. i only had one so my question it can i go to the dealer and get one or what do i do ?

 

I know on some of the older moddels you can but the raptor might be new enough you would need to get the vin number off of it and take that to your dealer and you would be set. My friend just took a part off his yammy and stuck a screw driver in it and it starts it so.......... your call, i sugest the new key.

 

or you could just take the key right out and run it w/o one... up here we dont need to worry about people taken quads and ****..

 

Dude, don't go to the dealer, you will be raped!!! Take out the ignition, very easy, and take it to your local locksmith. The locksmith can easily make you a new key with the ignition in hand. I recently had this done, and it ran about $20.00 to get the key made plus a couple extra. Took him 20 minutes!

 

I run mine with out the key for mx. It is very easy to take off. If you follow the back of the box down the front, behind your radiator there will be 4 wires. Connect them together and your done.

 

ya its not hard... and like i said.. if you have no worry about people stealing your quad just do that.

 

just connect all the wire together?

 

you could also get a tether kill switch. i have one on mine. that way you can take it out so nobody can start it and steal it.
