I just bought an older model blaster. Looks to be about '92 model. What are some things I should be checking out, or items I should have my mechanic look for? It came from Tampa Fl and I live at about 3000ft in the appalachian mts, so I guess it will have to be re-jetted-anything else along those lines?

 

leak down test or compression test.bearings they could get expensive

 

how much did you buy it for?. what he said and do an overall inspection, probably good idea to change the tranny oil, clean filter, maybe year the covers off and have a look at the condition of the tranny and clutch
