Should I throw the big valves in the 720?
#1
I have had the RWR 40/34 big valves laying on the shelf for about a year now and just can't decide whether to throw them in or not. I have the 720 bore, Web 109 cams, RWR valve springs, TM 45, Graydon pipe, RWR CDI and so on. She's pretty much set up for bottom/mid with the 109 cams and was fearing I might loose some torque with the big valves. Also not sure I have enough cam to really see the benefit of the valves on top end. Just looking for some opinions here, fellas. What would y'all do? Keep in mind I'm getting the 760 crank in soon so that's when I'd throw the valves in. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

well my grandma lives in Waynsburg pa. about 50 or so miles north of Morgantown WV. . I went to high point race track one time but there was nothing going on that day. This spring and summer i plan to go see some GNC action there. Also i plan to go down to Hatfield Mccoy trail's for a good long week. I have a 03'' DS650 stock. how did you get all of youre aftermarket parts in WV. ? on the internet?

Yeah, gotta love the internet! I've got a local engine builder who is simply a genius when it comes to four strokes, he also happens to be dirt cheap! He used to work for Four Stroke Tech but is now out on his own, he did my 720 build, ported head & manifold for $185. I would recomend him to anyone who wants to send him your head & manifold for an awesome port job.

I left him a voicemail the other day saying I wanted to purchase one of his +2 swingarms for the DS and he has yet to return my call. I guess he's not hurting for business. Maybe I'll try him again next week.
